Even if the driver is never found, you may still have a claim.
What to do
- Call 911 right away and report it.
- Write down anything you remember: color, make, plate letters, direction.
- Look for cameras nearby: businesses, homes, traffic cams.
- Get witness contacts.

In Georgia, uninsured motorist coverage can apply when the at-fault driver is unknown, but there are requirements, such as reporting the crash and, in some cases, corroborating evidence.
